Tarello, according to several Italian dictionaries I consulted, is not a word, but then,“ Joe” isn’ t in the English- language dictionary either. Birillo means pin, commonly a bowling pin. Make of that what you will. So far, some of the evidence ...

With increases in fuel costs and the tightness of the economy, many people are finding that they don't have the ability to take as many, or as large of vacations as they might have hoped. People are getting creative - considering other opportunities. These include reserving hotels at nice locations in their hometown ("Staycations") and traveling to the homes of friends and families out of town. I think both are great options - boosting the local economy and bringing people together. Don't give up all hope of a vacation - just get creative! You'd be suprised what you may come up with.

I'd like to recommend Sam the Cooking Guy for "I Recommend Food". Sam Zien, a San Diego resident hosts two cooking shows: a healthy cooking show on the Discovery Health Channel, and "Sam The Cooking Guy" on San Diego's local Channel 4. His recipes are designed to create quick, easy, great tasting food that anyone can make. Beyond that, his show is entertaining - and after making a few of his recipes, I know that the food is also great! One notable fact is that Sam isn't a chef - just a regular guy like you and me! Non San Diego residents can watch clips from his show and find many of his recipes by navigating to www.SamTheCookingGuy.com
